Richard has sixteen years experience advising architects, builders, self builders and home-owners on low energy fabric and services design; in addition he designs and project manages retrofit/renovation works as well as designing, installing and commissioning MVHR ventilation systems.
His qualifications include:
- Certified Passivhaus Consultant (one project certified and two in progess)
- AECB Carbonlite Retrofit Consultant (two near Enerphit projects in progress)
- BPEC qualified ventilation designer & installer
- On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor (OCDEA)
- Experienced Part P qualified electrician (including PV)
- He has also designed and built his own highly energy efficient house in Sicily complete with solar thermal and photovoltaic systems and is currently project managing and physically building his own Passivhaus new build near Emsworth
As a result Richard has a unique blend of theoretical knowledge and practical experience and with the help of a small local building company and several RIBA architect he regularly works with, he is well placed to help you realise a truly healthy comfortable and energy efficient home.
